The Land Bank's mission is to quickly return properties received from tax sales (DTPs) into productive use by responsible owners, in order to preserve property values, promote redevelopment, revitalize neighborhoods, reduce blight, expand the tax base, and lower expenses supported by taxes.

Besides handling property disposal, the Land Bank also acts as the County's Real Estate Department, offering services related to leasing, acquiring, and selling property, as well as managing property rights, easements, and encroachment issues.
